Big Brother Season 23 Cast Revealed: Meet the 16 New Houseguests

The cast of Big Brother Season 23 is set, and there’s not a Calafiore or Donato in sight.

On the heels of last summer’s much-maligned All-Stars season, CBS has recruited 16 brand new houseguests for the 23rd cycle, who you can meet in the list below.

This year’s crop of contestants is noticeably more diverse than previous seasons, after CBS pledged last November that Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) contestants would make up at least 50 percent of its unscripted series’ casts, beginning with the 2021-22 TV season.

But it is a fairly young cast, too, with a median age of 27. The youngest houseguest, graduate student Hannah Chaddha, is just 21 years old, while 40-year-old phlebotomist Tiffany Mitchell will be this season’s oldest participant. Elsewhere in the cast, players include swimwear designer Alyssa Lopez, flight attendant Brent Champagne, farmer Brandon “Frenchie” French and forensic scientist Sarah Steagall.

Big Brother returns with a live, 90-minute premiere on Wednesday, July 7 at 8/7c, followed by three-times-a-week airings on Sundays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8 pm, beginning Sunday, July 11. Season 23 features a Big Risks and Big Rewards theme, where one wrong gamble could cost players everything. And by the end of the season premiere, houseguests will be presented with a double-or-nothing offer that could prove too good to pass up.
