Season 25 of Big Brother has added a 17th houseguest to the cast…and she’s a Survivor legend.

During Wednesday night’s premiere episode, the hit show unveiled the iconic Cirie Fields as part of the season’s unexpected twist. What came as an even bigger surprise is that the four-time Survivor contestant is the mother of current cast member, Jared Fields.

The premiere episode was full of surprises.

In addition to Fields’, other surprises during the premiere episode included appearances from former houseguests Danielle Reyes, Britney Haynes, and Frankie Grande as they broke into the house and set off a “Time Laser,” which split the house into four sections, “the BB Comicsverse, the Humiliverse, the Scaryverse, and the Scrambleverse.”

Fields is the first 'Survivor' alum to compete on 'Big Brother'.

Fields first appeared on Survivor: Panama back in 2006 where she finished in fourth place. She returned two years later in 2008 for the Fans vs. Favorites season Survivor: Micronesia, where she ended placing third. In 2010, Fields returned for Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains, finishing in 17th place. Her final appearance was in Survivor: Game Changers, where she was eliminated in sixth place after failing to receive a vote. She was also the first winner of the U.S. version of The Traitors, which premiered earlier this year on Peacock.

Fields has now returned to reality TV for Season 25 of Big Brother, making her the first Survivor contestant to compete as a houseguest.

Season 25 of Big Brother airs every Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday on CBS.
