Heading into this week’s Veto episode of “Big Brother 25,” Jared Fields took control of the house by winning the Head of Household competition. Keep refreshing/reloading this “Big Brother 25” live blog for the most recent updates.

8:00 p.m. – “Previously on ‘Big Brother’!” In the 14th episode, the BB Odd Couples competition took place in the backyard with Jared outlasting the competition. Cirie cried in the diary room as she celebrated her son’s victory in private. Their alliance has long been targeting Cam, Red and Bowie so the decision about who to nominate was simple. In the end, the new Head of Household put Cam and Red on the block, saying he hopes it doesn’t “hinder” their personal relationships. Will the Veto shake up the game this week? Let’s go!

8:10 p.m. — Things pick up immediately after the nomination ceremony. In the diary room, Jared confirms Cam is his main target. Red is still convinced that Cam had something to do with him going on the block, so he’s crying about that. Meanwhile, Jag doesn’t feel like he can trust Cirie anymore but he still wants to work with the 7 Deadly Sins. The cameras cut to Red crying some more in the bedroom. He really feels betrayed by Cam. I think Jared may have exaggerated how badly Cam threw him under the bus. He needs to get it together. Cirie comes to comfort Red, building him up for the Veto competition. The last thing Cirie wants is for Cam to win the Veto.

8:15 p.m. — Jared and Cam are talking in the HOH room. Cam still thinks Red is the target and tells Jared whatever he thinks he wants to hear. The truth is, Cam doesn’t want himself OR Red to go home this week. Next Cory visits the HOH room. Cory and Jared made a final two deal on Day 2. Will that hold strong? Not a chance. But there’s still some trust there. Jared considers Cory his #4 after Cirie, Izzy and Blue. Cory asks Jared how long he can keep America in the house. Jared says America doesn’t help him at all and he has no use for her.

8:20 p.m. — It’s time to pick players for the Veto competition. Jared picks Felicia, Red picks America and Cam picks Matt. Jared goes on a mission to trash America, swearing he will backdoor her if he gets the slightest inclination she throws this Veto. Cory doesn’t understand what Jared’s problem is. Cory says Jared is freaking out at him for something that will never happen — America saving Cam. Jared won’t listen to reason once he makes something up in his own mind. Later, Cory pulls America aside and tells her people think she throws competitions.

8:35 p.m. — It’s time for the Veto competition! In “Sludge Stackers,” players must stack 36 miniature bottles into a pyramid with their tweezers. This has become a popular competition in the past few years, so it’s not something players should be unfamiliar with. Jared is terrible at this and Red isn’t much better. The other four all have a fighting chance to pull out this victory. At one point, Cam gets two cans away from victory before it all crumbles. Matt takes over the lead. Later Matt’s cans fall and Cam takes back over the lead. Cam wins the Power of Veto and nobody cheers. Jared will have to choose a replacement nominee.

8:43 p.m. — Felicia and Cirie are catching up in the bathroom. Felicia thinks America or Bowie Jane should sit next to Red on the block. America walks into the bedroom and Felicia immediately tells her she might be the replacement nominee. America goes upstairs to speak with Jared. America tells Jared that she’s furious people think she throws comps. He tells her that he has heard rumors she’s going after Izzy and Felicia. That’s true, but she denies it and starts crying. The fact is, Cory told Jared everything so America has nobody to blame but her BFF.

8:52 p.m. — Red sits down with Cam in the backyard and basically “breaks up with him.” Cam is confused and doesn’t understand what happened. Later, Red tells Cirie that his bromance with Cam can’t be reconciled. Suddenly, Cirie starts to wonder if it might be worth keeping Red in the game. Without Cam, that just makes him weaker and more dependent on them. Cirie realizes it’s not best for her game to keep Jag in the house. He knows she spilled the beans about Matt’s invincibility power and she doesn’t think she has his trust. She sits down with Jared and tells him if he takes out Jag, he takes out Matt’s number one. In Jag’s absence, suddenly Cirie would be Matt’s #1.

9:00 p.m. — It’s time for the Veto ceremony. As expected, Cam takes himself off the block. Jared stands in front of the living room and announces Jag will be the replacement nominee. That means either Jag or Red will be evicted from the house on Thursday night. How many times will the house flip between now and then? We’ll find out tomorrow!
