'The Big Bang Theory' Johnny Galecki Reveals Newborn Son
Good thing "The Big Bang Theory" is no longer in production because he's about to have a lot less time on his hands after welcoming his newborn son with girlfriend Alaina Meyer! The TV star and his model baby mama timed their Instagram announcements on Wednesday morning to reveal that their son had been born.
"With full and grateful hearts we welcome our beautiful son into this incredible world. Thank you for all of your love and support."
Along with the caption, Galecki and Meyer shared a photo of their son's tiny little hand in between his parents. We also gotta give Meyer props for Meyer making sure her nails were photo-ready with a fresh glitter manicure.
The Reveal!
The couple didn't reveal anything else about the baby's birth, but they had previously announced that the bundle of joy's name had been set as Avery. Back in October, Meyer shared photos from her baby shower, which went down in Oceanside, California. As is traditional, Galecki didn't attend the shower but Meyer made sure to shout out her baby daddy for sending a delicious spread for the party.
"My amazing mama and auntie put together the most amazing celestial shower. I am so grateful for the sweetest, most amazing night, celebrating Avery. Can not wait to meet this little man, only 4 weeks left 😵

Their First Child Together
Avery is the first child for both Galecki and Meyer, and back in March they were overjoyed to announce that they were expecting.
"We are absolutely over the moon to announce that we will soon be welcoming a little one into this crazy and wonderful world. We ask that you please respect our privacy during this celebratory time for us and our families. There truly is love out there for all. We hope ours is the ember of yours, as we feel yours is the ember of ours."
After doing a gender reveal for family and friends, Meyer posted about looking forward to the journey of raising a son with the former "Roseanne" and "The Big Bang Theory" star.
"I can not wait to raise a baby boy with my love. He will follow in his fathers footsteps of being a generous, loving, chivalrous fellow."
Their Relationship
It's unclear exactly how long Galecki and his 21-year-old model girlfriend have been together, but they went public on Instagram last year during the Emmy Awards. After attending Jeffrey Katzenberg's Pre-Emmy party, "The Big Bang Theory" star posted a photo of him and Meyer on Instagram and captioned the pic, "Last night was wonderful."
Meyer, who also reportedly works as a welder, wrote about their relationship ahead of the new year and spoke about the great things to come. If only she knew what exactly was in store for the couple.
"Oh wowza, what a wonderful year it had been. One of my biggest blessings this year was falling in love with this amazing man. I’m so grateful for all of the lessons I have learned over this year and all of the memories I’ve made with family and loved ones. I loved 2018 but I am ready for 2019 and all of the magic to come. HAPPY NEW YEAR."
