'Big Bang' Hookup a Big Shock to Sheldon and Leonard
On the season finale of The Big Bang Theory, Penny promised Leonard’s mom that they would have another wedding ceremony since they just got married by themselves in Vegas. This time around, friends and family were invited, including Leonard’s dad, played by the legendary Judd Hirsch.
On the way to dinner, Leonard’s dad got to know Sheldon’s mom, played by Laurie Metcalf, and the two seemed to take a liking to each other. As the night went on, the parents continued flirting with each other until the end of the evening when they decided to leave together. Not only did Leonard’s dad offer to share a cab back to the hotel, he also invited her up for a nightcap, which she gladly accepted. This is when Leonard started to question what was going on, while Sheldon remained blissfully ignorant.

Back in their apartment, Leonard and Sheldon started to stress out, as they couldn’t get a hold of their flirty parents, and Penny was loving every minute of it. Unfortunately, fans will have to wait until next season to find out what really happened.
