BFFs Reese Witherspoon and Laura Dern Have Outfit 'Emergency’ in Matching $40 Holiday Skirts

The 'Big Little Lies' costars twinned in sparkly skirts from Old Navy

Reese Witherspoon and Laura Dern are jingling all the way in matching outfits this holiday.

The longtime friends recently attended a party together and they later posted a few snapshots of the festivities, including their attire for the occasion.

The Big Little Lies stars both wore white crewneck sweaters decorated with name tag stickers and dazzling A-line sequin skirts from Old Navy, which are now almost completely sold out on the retailer’s website. The sparkling maxi was previously modeled by Natasha Lyonne in her festive campaign for the brand.

Witherspoon and Dern differentiated their ‘fits with their choice of shoes and accessories  — black heels and a silver clutch for Witherspoon and a crimson bag and pointed-toe shoes for Dern.

To complete their matchy-matchy style, they both sported wispy curtain bangs and red lipstick.

“Listen, I said get Santa on the horn, STAT. We’ve got a skirt emergency,” Dern, 56, captioned a hilarious photo of her and Witherspoon, who posed as if talking through a phone.

Over on her Instagram, Witherspoon, 47, shared before-and-after photos showing how the two’s outfits withstood the fun of the night, which according to her Instagram comment to Charles Porch, included “so much caroling and eggnog and catching up!”

“Spreading Holiday joy ... it's exhausting,” the Legally Blonde star captioned her carousel, which also included a picture of the pals standing barefoot, hair tousled and looking partied out.

Their little photo shoot garnered praise from plenty of A-listers such as Kate Hudson, Kelsea Ballerini and Property Brothers star Jonathan Scott.

Witherspoon and Dern previously coordinated back in 2018, also around the holiday season.

Last December, the Sweet Home Alabama actress actually reviewed those very looks. "Who are these Christmas cuties?” Witherspoon said, giving their 'fits a high score of 10 out of 10.

The duo also showed off their close bond — and similar fashion sense — at the 2021 Oscars, being one another's dates for the glamorous night.

Witherspoon wore a crimson Christian Dior halter-neck gown with a pleated skirt accented with a black belt, while Dern kept it classic in an Oscar de la Renta gown made avant-garde with a feathered skirt.
