Beyoncé Tried Spring's Beige Blonde Trend With a Modern Cowgirl Twist

When Beyoncé talks, we listen. And in the rare instance that she posts on Instagram, it’s guaranteed that we’re paying attention. So, when the Cowboy Carter singer added a few photos to her social media account, we took notes. Switching up from her recent denim-on-denim and cowgirl aesthetic, Beyoncé donned a tan monochrome outfit with the beauty to match, down to her nails.

On April 17, the ‘Texas Hold ‘Em" singer posted a slideshow of the tan look to her Instagram, which was a major change from her go-to western aesthetic. She layered a tan trench coat on top of a tan cinched blazer worn over, you guessed it, tan pleated trousers. Of course, since she’s still in the Cowboy Carter era she added a bolo tie and cowboy hat as accessories. As one commenter, Shelton Griffith put it, Beyoncé’s outfit was a “quiet luxury yeehaw.”

When Beyoncé commits to a look, she goes all in. Her beauty reflected the outfit's neutral vibe. In a close-up selfie from the star, tiny brown freckles dotted her cheeks and she had on just the slightest amount of pink blush. For eyeshadow, she opted for a tawny brown shade that complimented her nude lips nicely. Her hair was also noticeably lighter, matching the rest of her outfit perfectly with spring's trending "biege blonde" shade.

Last, but not least, was her tan manicure, which we couldn’t keep our eyes off of. Her square nails had a swipe of tan nail polish that was so similar to her natural nail shade. Why tan? While her outfit was tan from head to toe, she had pops of silver accessories and carried a brown bag that could have certainly inspired her polish. Clearly, Queen Bey has a penchant for the shade, and with her stamp of approval, we anticipate that the minimalist manicure will have its moment this spring and into summer. Who doesn't love a low-key mani that goes with everything?

Her nude mani comes as no surprise since some of spring's biggest manicure trends are so unexpected.
