Because she's one of the biggest and most talented stars on the planet, Beyoncé can afford to be more private than many celebrities. We don't often get the chance to see what her home life is like, but when we do, it offers a new way for us to relate to the iconic singer.

In a new video posted to her Instagram, Queen Bey has offered us a recap of her 2019, including both professional and personal accomplishments that she experienced.

The personal accomplishments offer a window into the singer that we usually don't get, while the professional ones remind us of exactly why she's one of the most successful people on the planet.

One of the personal milestones the video covers is Blue Ivy's birthday. Beyoncé's oldest child, Blue Ivy is by far the one we see the most of. On Jan. 7, she celebrated her "Rose Golden" birthday, and appears to go through a series of wardrobe changes over the course of that day.

While Blue is definitely the most public of Beyoncé's children, the recap video also highlights Rumi and Sir's second birthday. The children are now 2 years old, but Beyoncé has been careful about keeping them largely out of the public eye, at least for now.

In the video, though, we see their birthday party this past summer, which featured balloons, an impressively elaborate cake, and plenty of primary colors. We also get the chance to see Sir walk around for a brief second.

While celebrating the birth of her children is undoubtedly important to the mother of three, Beyoncé also knows her own worth. In the video, she takes some time to highlight her own birthday as well.

It doesn't get the same emphasis as her kids' birthdays, but it does remind us that she turned 38 this year. It's also a chance to see all of Bey's children together, which is something we haven't gotten much of from the singer thus far.

Ultimately, the video's emphasis on family is a reminder that, while Beyoncé may have released the wildly successful "Homecoming" documentary on Netflix this year, she'll always be most proud of the family she's gotten the chance to raise and adore.

The final shot of the video is of the entire family in formal wear, including her husband Jay-Z. It's a fitting end, one that emphasizes the incredible year she's had as a family, and gives us a chance to admire them from afar.
