Beyoncé in Nashville: Everything to know about tickets, opening acts, weather

Beyoncé is scheduled to return to Music City for the first time in five years on Saturday.

The seller of over 29.5 million albums and 114 million singles in the United States since her 2004 solo debut is coming to Nissan Stadium for a much-hyped concert experience.

The most awarded singer in Grammy history has sold over 4 million singles from three official releases from the album she's touring, 2022's "Renaissance."

"Creating this album allowed me to dream and find escape during a scary time for the world. It allowed me to feel free and adventurous when little else was moving," the legendary pop performer said about the album.

"I intended to create a safe place without judgment. A place to be free of perfectionism and overthinking. A place to scream, release, feel freedom."

Beyonce bares quite a bit on her new album, "Renaissance." It's her first full-length release since 2016's "Lemonade."

She credits her gay Uncle Jonny, whom she described during her 2019 GLAAD Media Awards acceptance speech as "the most fabulous gay man I've ever known," as inspiration for "Renaissance."

"He was my godmother and the first person to expose me to a lot of the music and culture that inspire this album," Beyoncé said in a social media post.

What's the weather forecast for Nashville?

High temperatures will be near 93 degrees, while low temperatures will be around 73 degrees. However, there is a 40% chance of rain and thunderstorms impacting Beyoncé's Saturday concert, says National Weather Service Nashville meteorologist Sam Shamburger.

Though he says Queen Bey's fans should bring their ponchos and rain gear, it's important to remember that Nissan Stadium does not allow ticket holders to bring umbrellas into the venue.

What if it storms?

Lightning within 8 miles of the stage will cause the concert to delay and force the audience to shelter in place until after 30 minutes of no lightning strikes within an 8-mile radius. Once a shelter-in-place is instituted, ticket holders should follow instructions on the stadium screens for updates. Updates will also be shared on Nissan Stadium's social media.
