The Beehive is buzzing and for good reason. Beyoncé is scheduled to return to Louisville for the first time in a decade on Monday.

The most awarded singer in Grammy history last performed at KFC Yum! Center in 2013 as part of "The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour," the fifth stadium concert tour by the pop icon.

Ten years later, the 41-year-old mother of three is headed back to Louisville and bringing her bedazzled stadium tour to L&N Federal Credit Union Stadium on July 17.

Attendees should be warned, though — the timetable for the show has been delayed a bit due to the potential for wet weather in the forecast. Gates at the stadium are now set to open at 6:30 p.m., with the performance to begin at 8 p.m.

The nearly three-hour show includes a set list of more than 30 songs that pulls heavily from her mega-selling seventh studio album "Renaissance," featuring callbacks to her extensive catalog including "Crazy in Love," "Love on Top" and "Formation," joined new tracks including "Plastic Off the Sofa," "Cozy" and "Break My Soul."

The Renaissance World Tour is Beyonce's first string of tour dates since her 2018 "On the Run" outing with her husband Jay-Z and her first solo tour in more than six years.

After making stops throughout Europe, the global superstar kicked off the North American leg of her world tour on Sunday, July 9, in Toronto Canada. Louisville will be the "Break My Soul" singer's fourth stop of the North American tour, which has been updated to conclude on Oct. 1 in Kansas City.

According to the stadium's website, each ticket holder is allowed one small clutch purse (no larger than 6.5-inches-by-4.5-inches) and one large clear bag, either a one-gallon clear Ziploc-style storage bag or a 12-inch-by-6-inch-by-12-inch clear tote bag.

What will the weather be like at the concert?

Monday is looking like a typical Kentucky summer forecast, hot, and humid with a chance for thunderstorms.

"We are currently in a pattern where we see a chance for rain every couple of days so there is a chance for a thunderstorm Monday," said Chris Havely, meteorologist, Spectrum News 1. "The data I am looking at puts the rain chance in the morning to early afternoon but it will all depend on how quickly or slowly the system moves through the area."

L&N Federal Credit Union Stadium is an open-air stadium, meaning there is no ceiling to prevent the weather from doing what it does. If you want to be on the safe side bring a poncho or hooded rain jacket with your concert ticket to the stadium.

"It's worth monitoring the weather on Monday," Havely told the Courier Journal. "I do think we should lose the chance for rain by the start of the concert but bring your poncho and you probably won't need it the entire show."

With temperatures Monday predicted to be in the high 80s, remember to hydrate, and if there are thunderstorms, be prepared for delays due to lightning.
