Beyoncé Knowles-Carter has been stirring up lots of anticipation amongst fans hoping for an appearance at a number of festivals, award shows and galas. And given her recent pit stops and social media teases, fans' high hopes make sense.

As of now, many fans on social media are hoping the "Ya Ya" singer will make an appearance at the 59th Academy of Country Music Awards (ACMs) after it was rumored the superstar received an invitation to the show. Not to mention the event falls on the heels of her highly acclaimed album "Cowboy Carter."

In a matter of hours, it will be clear whether Beyoncé decided to attend the ACM Awards, but what other events have the beyhive buzzing with anticipation?

ACM Awards

This year's ACM Awards will air live from Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas — which lands about five hours north of Beyoncé's hometown of Houston.

The night is all about honoring achievements in country music, and though Beyoncé's latest album wouldn't qualify for this year's awards because of when it was released, the superstar is a highly sought-out act for these award shows.

Hosted by Reba McEntire, the Academy of Country Music Awards will have a special tribute to legendary singer Toby Keith and performances by some the biggest names in country.

Essence Festival

Essence Festival of Culture is a highly anticipated event held in New Orleans from July 4-7. It was started in 1994 to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Essence magazine, which is aimed toward African American women.

The festival has evolved into an annual event and the nation's premier showcase of African American music and culture. In celebration of its 30-year legacy as the "party with a purpose," the festival has begun to announce some of this year's evening concert performers including Birdman & Friends, Janet Jackson and Charlie Wilson.

The full lineup has yet to be announced, and some Beyoncé fans are hoping the buildup is worth the wait, with an appearance from Queen Bey, who graced the cover of the March/April 2024 issue.

MTV Video Music Awards

The beyhive has been eager to find out whether Beyoncé will perform at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards, after reports from The Mirror, a British tabloid newspaper, began surfacing online.

According to The Mirror, the superstar is set to hit the award show stage in September to mark its 40th anniversary and Beyoncé's huge year and album release.

This year's show will take place Sept. 10 in New York. The news has yet to be confirmed by USA TODAY.

As fans know, the Grammy-Award winning singer recently released her "Act II" project "Cowboy Carter" on March 29, and has since made history and taken the internet by storm. And she has been on the move lately, sharing a bit more insight on her whereabouts and on-the-road endeavors.

After accepting the prestigious Innovator Award at the 2024 iHeart Radio Music awards, many fans believed the singer might perform at this year's Coachella and Stagecoach music festivals.

Beyoncé did not publicly appear at either event, but she had "Cowboy Carter" trucks and promo on full display. And it was later revealed she attended Coachella with her longtime friend and singer Kelly Rowland in support of her Parkwood-signed artist Chloe Bailey. Shortly after, the internet began buzzing about Beyoncé making a comeback to the Met Gala in New York City. She did not appear.

By now, fans can be certain they can never be too certain where or when the superstar might show up. Of course, she's been having a huge year and there's no indication she'll slow down anytime soon.
