Beyoncé came to Brazil — and the BeyHive couldn't contain their "Energy."

On Thursday, Queen Bey, 42, stepped out for a surprise premiere event in honor of Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé hitting theaters in Brazil. The pop superstar celebrated the release at a fan event and screening titled "Club Renaissance," where she addressed fans from the stage of a convention center in Salvador, Bahia — and even brought out one of her tour traditions.

Fans captured footage of the Grammy winner — who was a vision in a sparkling silver, floor-length gown — attempting the mute challenge with her Brazilian fans. But in the clips, when she sang the “Look around, everybody on mute” lyric from her track “Energy,” the crowd was simply too excited and didn’t go silent — as stadiums (mostly) did on the Renaissance World Tour.

According to fan-recorded videos, the “Break My Soul” artist sang the line once, and the audience continued to scream, prompting her to repeat it. When they failed their second chance by continuing to cheer, the hitmaker couldn’t help but laugh.

Audience members also captured footage of Beyoncé on stage explaining why it was important for her to host a premiere for her new film in the South American country.

“I came because I love you so much,” the Destiny's Child alum said. “It was very important to me to be here — right here in Bahia. The renaissance is about freedom. It’s about beauty, joy, resilience, everything that you are about. I’m so honored to be here and so happy to see your beautiful faces. I love you so much.”

Beyoncé concluded by thanking her fans and making a reference to her Renaissance track “Alien Superstar.” She said, “There’s nobody like y’all. You are one of one. Number one and the only one, Bahia!”

Following the event, Beyoncé took to Instagram to share photos from the night. In a carousel, she shared a cute selfie throwing up a peace sign, several shots posing on the carpet, including two of her waving the Brazilian flag and a couple candids on stage at Club Renaissance, smiling and holding the Bahia flag. The final photo showed her relaxing on a plane — still in her gown, with its long fabric and hood draped beside her — smiling and looking as if she was pleased with the night.

Fans suspected the singer was en route to a Brazil premiere when she changed her Instagram bio to be, “📍Salvador, Bahia, Brazil” on Thursday. Along with the tease on her profile, she also posted a fun photo on her Instagram Story featuring her iconic silver Renaissance horse (nicknamed Reneigh) peeking out from an airplane.

Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé arrives in theaters in Brazil several weeks after it hit cinemas in the U.S. and other countries across the globe on Dec. 1.

The Lemonade artist celebrated the film — which documents her acclaimed, record-shattering 2023 world tour and its behind-the-scenes moments — with two other premiere events.

Beyoncé first stepped out on Nov. 25 at a Los Angeles premiere that saw a star-studded guest list including Gabrielle Union, Janelle Monáe, Kelly Rowland, Lizzo, Lori Harvey and Winnie Harlow, among others.

Several days later, she also attended a world premiere in London. Taylor Swift was among the attendees, showing her support for the fellow pop icon after Bey attended the premiere of Swift’s own concert film in October.

Tickets for Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé are available to purchase now.
