JARED QUAY: Jared Quay here at Yahoo Sportsbook, here for the MVP race. Is James Harden a legit MVP candidate? Absolutely. Not only does his team have one of the top three records in the NBA, he's leading the league in assists, he's 12th in points, and he's getting triple-doubles on the daily. The only thing that really hurts him is the fact that he won it once before and the fact that he has a lot of stars on his team, which may hurt him, whereas the Joker, who's the front runner, has a team where he's literally carrying the load. But I think James Harden, if they continue at this rate, and he does finish leading the league in assists and up there in points, I say this could easily be his second MVP trophy. And if we're gonna throw money on this, why waste it with the -130 with the Joker? We can get +500 for Harden right now. He's not only a legit candidate, he might be one you should put your money on.
