‘Better Call Saul’ Sneak Peek: Jimmy Goes to Jail

It’s not like it’s Jimmy McGill’s first trip to the hoosegow, but it is the first time his big brother Chuck is sending him there, instead of bailing him out.

In the Yahoo TV exclusive clip above, from Monday’s “Sunk Costs” episode of Better Call Saul, lawyer Jimmy finds himself on the other side of the legal proceedings when he’s stripped of his shoes, socks, belt, cigarettes, and all other personal possessions and made to sport gross plastic mandals when he’s booked into the local jail.

What, exactly, are the charges? That we don’t know, but considering where we left him in last week’s “Witness” — namely, on the receiving end of threats about consequences from vengeance-minded Chuck — it’s a safe bet his trip to lockup is Chuck-related.

Especially after his lawyer pal Oakley happens by when Jimmy’s being fingerprinted and wants to know the cause of why “the mighty have fallen.”

“Family trouble,” Jimmy tells him.

Is this truly the beginning of the end for Jimmy, and the beginning of the beginning for Saul Goodman?

Better Call Saul airs Mondays at 10 p.m. on AMC.
