Please tell me this is not another April Fool’s Day prank. Rumor has it that Bette Midler wants to be a housewife—one of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, specifically.

“Is it too late for me to become a Real Housewife of Beverly Hills?” the legendary singer/actress tweeted on March 30. “I’ve never watched it, but I am in the mood to talk some sh*t. And to get paid for it? A dream!”

Apparently, Bravo’s on board, as the network giddily responded to her post with, “Talk about a glorious crossover.”

Kyle who?

Since Lisa Rinna’s 2023 departure and rumors that OG Kyle Richards may follow suit, there’d certainly be room for Bette. Wouldn’t she and Garcelle Beauvais be a hoot together?

In a follow-up post on X (formerly Twitter), Bette wrote her own tagline. In a nod to her 1988 Oscar-nominated film, she suggested, “Those Beaches don’t know what’s about to hit ‘em!!”

As for Kyle, she admitted last month that whether she returns for another season will be a “last-minute decision.” That seems like code for “Depends on how much money they offer me.”

“People keep asking me, ‘Are you going to come back? Are you going to leave?’” Kyle told Extra. “It’s always something I decide last minute, sort of.” Season 13 was difficult for Kyle and her family as viewers watched her three-decade marriage fall apart. By the season finale, she and husband Mauricio Umansky had separated following 27 years of marriage.

“I think this season, particularly,” she added, “I had been so under the microscope … It’s been very challenging to navigate through that when I’m just trying to figure out my life myself.”

Sadly, Bette is probably too busy with her movie career to have time for “talking sh*t” with the housewives. She may be preparing to reprise her role in a third installment of the movie Hocus Pocus. She could be too busy with the Sanderson sisters to hang out with the ladies of 90210.

I do wish it were true, though. Bette’s appearance on RHOBH would really be the Wind Beneath My Wings.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is now streaming on Peacock.

TELL US – WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE BETTE ON RHOBH? WHO DO YOU THINK SHE’D GET ALONG WITH BEST? WHO WOULD SHE FIGHT WITH?
