Bethenny Frankel Flies To Florida And The Bahamas To Help Hurricane Dorian Victims

Hurricane Dorian Looms

Dorian is currently a Category 2 hurricane, causing severe damage in The Bahamas and Florida. The death toll is currently at five in The Bahamas as the storm creeps towards Florida and the Georgia and South Carolina coasts.

Frankel Is Helping With Relief Efforts

Bethenny Frankel, who recently departed the Real Housewives Of New York City, is continuing her work with B Strong Disaster Relief and heading to Florida and The Bahamas to assist with the aid efforts on the ground. She encouraged her social media followers to donate and ensured them that the money was going directly to the relief effort.

Please go to the B Strong link and donate. Relief goes to the warehouse, cash cards goes into people’s hands."

Partnering With B Strong

Frankel posted about her trip in her Instagram stories on Monday, explaining that her team is already hard at work and that she will be joining them.

"Hey, ok everyone, so I’m headed to Florida and the Bahamas now and I hope you’re having a good Labor Day and I will keep you posted on what’s going on but it’s pretty gnarly. My team is already at our warehouse pulling together all of our relief, and thank you all so much for offering."

Using Her Celebrity For Good

Frankel posted video of the B Strong warehouse in Miami, showing her followers what's already come in for help during the hurricane.

"I’m at our warehouse now…but this is where we receive relief from all over the country and distribute it in the Bahamas. So first aid, medical, feminine hygiene, diapers, generators, you name it, water."

This is hardly the first time that Frankel has used B Strong to make a difference, and it's good to see a celebrity using their fame for good.
