Bestselling historical fiction author to visit Fairhope

FAIRHOPE, Ala. (WKRG) — A New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of historical fiction is coming to Fairhope to celebrate her upcoming summer release, according to a press release.

Kate Quinn, a southern California native who has written four novels and two books that have been translated into multiple languages, is scheduled to come visit Fairhope’s Page & Palette at 6 p.m. on July 17 to celebrate her upcoming release of “The Briar Club.”

According to the release, “The Birar Club,” a historical fiction novel that tells the story of a “lovely, mysterious widow” moving into an attic room of the -all-female boarding house called Briarwood House, ” is publishing on the heels of the Fourth of July holiday.”
