The 24-year-old rapper from the Bronx became a global superstar in less than a year after her song, “Munch (Feelin’ U)” went viral in August 2022. Since then, she's released many other hit songs and collaborated with some well-known singers.

With more than 25 million listeners on Spotify each month, she’s caught the attention of many music lovers. And now as the face of the Alexander Wang Spring 2024 collection campaign, she's certainly going to be grabbing attention from the world of fashion.

As New York natives, Ice Spice and Wang draw inspiration from New York City culture, which helps to shape their distinctive perspectives on fashion.

Wang, an American fashion designer known for his cool, urban inspired designs that he has described as "models off-duty," moved to New York at 18 to attend Parsons School of Design. He ended up dropping out during his second year to start his own label and launched with a collection of unisex cashmere knits.

His designs have been spotted on many celebrities from The Weeknd to Travis Scott to Zoe Kravitz and many others.

This exciting partnership isn't Ice Spice's first modeling campaign. The rapper has been asked to represent Ivy Park's collaboration with Adidas and has been offered collaborations with Beyonce via Ivy Park. She was also a Skims model for Kim Kardashian's brand, and a brand ambassador for Marc Jacobs.

On Wednesday night, she was honored with the Hitmaker award at Billboard's 2024 Women in Music event. And then on Thursday, the news broke that she is the face of the Alexander Wang Spring 2024 collection.

Talking about her album, "Y2K," which is inspired by her birthday, January 1, 2000, she told Billboard, "I think this is some of my best work" and "it's not going to be too long - it's going to be sweet and to the point."

The "In Ha Mood" rapper had four top 10 songs on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2023, so of course, she's looking to add more with her debut album.

"There's so many different types of hits," she said. "But my favorite is the one that's just, like, culturally important."

Ice Spice Recently Revealed The Advice Taylor Swift Gave Her

Ice Spice

Ahead of receiving Billboard's "Hitmaker" award on Wednesday night, Ice Spice opened up to Billboard about the songwriting advice pop star Taylor Swift once gave her.

"When I was in the studio with Taylor, like, I'll never forget that," she said. "She told me, 'No matter what, just keep making music and everything's going to be fine.'"

In May 2023, Ice Spice and Swift joined together for the "Karma" remix. And Ice Spice was a special guest at three of Swift's shows at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, where they debuted a music video they made together.

Past "Hitmaker" award winners include Charli XCX and Dolly Parton, who Ice Spice shouted out when asked who her favorite "hitmakers" of all time are. Swift, of course, made her list, as well as Lana Del Rey, Nicki Minaj and Rihanna.

Congrats to Ice Spice on receiving the "hitmaker" award and your new partnership with Alexander Wang!
