“The Mandalorian” season 2 might be over, but that doesn’t mean we need to stop using Baby Yoda merch as an instant serotonin boost whenever we’re feeling sad. Sure, there are plenty of characters in the “Star Wars” universe aside from the Child, but there’s only one who has spawned the best recent memes despite potentially committing genocide by chowing down on endangered frog eggs.

Star Wars: The Mandalorian Operation Game by Hasbro
Themed Monopoly games? Tired. Themed Operation? Wired, especially when it includes sweet little Baby Yoda. Keep the troublemaker from causing too much trouble by carefully removing objects — including a broth mug, a frog, and a mudhorn egg — without setting off the buzzer. You’ll need two AA batteries to ensure the sounds, light-up features, and buzzer are in working order, then you’re good to go.
D-O Figure by LEGO – Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker
As a newer droid introduced in “The Rise of Skywalker,” D-O doesn’t necessarily get the love that the others do. Change that with this 519-piece LEGO collectible featuring a 360-degree rotating head, built-in stand, possible antennas, plus an information sign and D-O minifigure.
Pop! Funko Mandalorian with The Child Vinyl Action Figure
This ten-inch chrome Mandalorian, decked out in his new beskar armor, is tasked with protecting the Child, a.k.a. the cutest lil guy who also maybe is a murderer, and is around three times larger than a typical Pop! vinyl figure.
LEGO Star Wars: The Mandalorian The Child Building Kit
Urgent alert: You can build your very own LEGO Baby Yoda with this 1,073-piece model of The Child, a.k.a. television’s most adorable breakout character of 2019. This buildable toy model reproduces authentic detail and cute features of the character, including a posable head, movable ears, and an adjustable mouth for different expressions. It even comes with its very own gearshift knob (which we all know is the Child’s favorite toy), plus an information sign for display purposes.
Star Wars The Child Animatronic Edition
Another Baby Yoda addition for your holiday gift list: this animatronic toy that will officially hit shelves on December 15, though you can pre-order now. If you touch the top of your li’l Baby Yoda’s head, it’ll activate more than 25 sound effects (happy and excited, giggles and babbles, tired and sleeping, and force effects). Motorized movements mean the head bobs up and down, ears that move back and forth, and eyes that open and close. Pat its head three times to activate the Force (it’ll raise its arm, close its eyes, and sigh, as if using the Force), or lay it down for it to close its eyes and take a Force nap.
Funko Pop! Star Wars: The Mandalorian – The Child with Frog
Okay, one more Baby Yoda toy before we move on. While there are many adorable “Star Wars” Funko Pops to choose from — the Kylo Ren one is a fave, since it distills all of the character’s angst into a sweet little toy you can put on your shelf — it doesn’t get much cuter than this lil’ Baby Yoda casually chowing down on a frog.
Lego Trouble in Tatooine Set
This new set was a Mando Monday release, and features the Mandalorian’s speeder bike with a LEGO minifigure seat and saddlebag for the Child to sit in, plus a buildable Tusken hut and a new (come January 2021) missile-shooting ballista for the Tusken Raider.
LEGO Ultimate Millennium Falcon
While plenty of the items on this list are suited for adults and kids alike, this particular “Star Wars” toy is for the older enthusiasts owing to its 7,541 pieces. The official item description warns that this is for “expert builders,” and it’ll take you many, many hours to complete. This replica of Han Solo’s beloved starship recreates the main hold more accurately than you’d think for a toy (there’s a Dejarik holographic game, combat remote training helmet, and engineering station with turning minifigure seat; plus a rear compartment featuring the engine room with hyperdrive and console and two escape Pod hatches; and an exterior including detailed removable hull panels, lowering boarding ramp, concealed blaster cannon, four-minifigure cockpit with detachable canopy, and interchangeable round/rectangular sensor dishes). It also comes with two crews of mini figures (four classic: Han Solo, Chewbacca, Princess Leia and C-3PO; four newer: Older Han Solo, Rey, and Finn).
Nerf Star Wars: The Mandalorian Imperial Death Trooper Blaster
Another Mando Mondays drop, this Nerf blaster is inspired by the blasters seen in “The Mandalorian,” and uses “GlowStrike” technology to charge the darts and make them glow when fired. Just load three darts, pump the priming slide, and pull the trigger to fire (complete with laser blast sounds). You’ll get three official Nerf Elite foam darts that are suitable for both indoor and outdoor play. (Don’t forget the eye protection and required batteries.)
Millennium Falcon Play Set – Star Wars Toybox
If you’re looking for a Millennium Falcon model for an actual child to play with, this Disney toy (for ages 3 and up) features light-up and sound effects plus figures of Rey, BB-8 and D-O at the ready to pilot the starship. Fun features include a rotating gun with seat for figure on top, foldable legs for landing, hatches that open, and accessories compatible with all Star Wars Toybox figures.
LEGO Stormtrooper Helmet Building Set
LEGO makes several of these helmet sets (you can also recreate Boba Fett’s iconic headwear) clearly meant for display — not sure what kind of games you can play with a giant Stormtrooper head — but this one, in honor of the 40th anniversary of “The Empire Strikes Back,” is visually striking. Plus, if you put it on your shelf, it kind of looks like a hunting trophy, but for stamping out fascism.

Out Nov. 1, these action figure sets come in three different configurations — the original trilogy’s Rebel Alliance (R2-D2, Han Solo, Princess Leia, Chewbacca, and Luke Skywalker), the prequel trilogy’s Jedi Order (Obi-Wan Kenobi, Mace Windu, Anakin Skywalker, Yoda, and R7-A7), and the sequel trilogy’s Resistance (Poe Dameron, Rey, Finn, C-3PO, BB-8, and a Porg).
Star Wars Lightsabers
There are truly so many different lightsaber toys to choose from, but they’re definitely a requirement for any respectable “Star Wars” toy collection. Your choice, really, depends on whether or not you’re planning to actually play with them — the low-tech toy versions of Kylo Ren’s three pronged lightsaber (pictured) or even just a simple Luke Skywalker “Return of the Jedi” one are both fun choices, plus there’s a fancy electronic version of Luke’s that lights up. If you’re looking for more of a collectible, there are many high-priced options, including this cool Black Series Darth Vader Force FX Lightsaber.
