Great news: 2024 has already served us some exciting new shows on Netflix as well as the long-awaited return of some fan favorites via bingeworthy new seasons. And don't get me started on reality shows like Love is Blind and The Circle. What does the rest of the year have in store when it comes to Netflix originals? Here are the best shows we know are coming to Netflix in 2024.

There's the third season of Girls5Eva, which moved to Netflix from Peacock, as well as the third season of Vikings: Valhalla. There's the romantic limited series One Day, which hit Netflix on February 8, just in time to destroy everyone's tear ducts for Valentine's Day. And there's the series adaptation of The Talented Mr. Ripley with Andrew Scott, Dakota Fanning, and Johnny Flynn that had me practically feral. And who knows? Maybe a miracle will happen, and they'll reverse the decision to cancel Shadow and Bone and/or some other favorites. A girl can dream. Shows like Outer Banks, The Diplomat, Emily in Paris, That '90s Show and The Night Agent are supposed to come back this year but we haven't heard much yet.

And will we finally get Stranger Things 5 a.k.a. the final season a.k.a. please free these former child actors from the Upside Down forever this year? Probably not, it looks like! They begin filming in January, according to Variety, and having all the special effects ready by the end of the year feels unlikely. Fingers crossed!

Fool Me Once

Release date: January 1

Netflix started the year off right with a limited series that was absolutely thrilling. What if the home intruder you caught on your nanny cam wasn't a burglar, but your (allegedly) dead husband?

Sofia Vergara in a series from the people who made Narcos? That's a television formula I never knew I needed.

Girls5eva

Release date: March 14

Netflix scooped up the canceled Peacock series for its third season, and thank goodness! The zany sitcom about a reunited 00s girl group is funnier than eva. Season 3 took the ladies on tour, where they learned more about each other and themselves and got into so many hilarious scrapes.

3 Body Problem

This series is produced by the guys from Game of Thrones as well as The Chair on Netflix. It stars a handful of Thrones alum, including John Bradley, Ian Cunningham, and Jonathan Pryce as well as actors like Benedict Wong, Alex Sharp, Eiza González and Rosalind Chao. It's a science fiction-y historical drama based on a book by Liu Cixin. I dunno, I'm excited!

Bridgerton Season 3

Release date: May 16 (Part 1) and June 13 (Part 2)

I'm truly shocked that this show won't be out until next summer and that they're splitting it into two parts when it has been sooooo long since season 2. But I won't look a gift horse in the mouth. Especially if it's pulling Penelope and Colin in a certain carriage–book readers know what I'm talking about. Lady Whistledown would want me to exercise patience. So I will.

The Umbrella Academy Season 4

Release date: August 8

Fingers crossed that this actually comes out in 2024. It doesn't seem like there have been any major snags. The wacky superhero series is sure to end on an unexpected note, and that's putting it lightly! I can't wait to see it.

Heartstopper

Release date: October

The teens are back! With tremendous guest stars like Hayley Atwell and Jonathan Bailey joining the show in Season 3, my anticipation could not be greater. Fans of the graphic novels might also be interested to know that this season will adapt some of Alice Oseman's novel Solitaire, which is all about Nick's sister Tori.
