Set on a remote island against the backdrop of the Irish Civil War’s tail end in 1923, The Banshees of Inisherin is a beautifully acted, perfect blend of sharp, thought-provoking satire and occasional pitch black drama of a heartbreaking sort that only a writer like McDonagh could master.

No One Will Save You (2023)
