Best Moments From ‘Idol’ Top 3
On Thursday’s American Idol, the singers were narrowed down to the top three. Before the elimination, they toured their hometowns and were treated as celebrities. Sadly, one of the talented singers had to be sent home.
It was up to Mackenzie Bourg and La’Porsha Renae. Ryan Seacrest tried to stretch out the drama before announcing the person who was safe, but Mackenzie said, “I can do it for you.” The humble singer-songwriter Mackenzie knew he was going home and that La’Porsha was staying. Before leaving, he told La’Porsha to beat the rest of the contestants.
The final night of performances on the American Idol stage before moving on to the finale episodes saw powerful ones. La’Porsha gave a defiant performance of “Glory.” Dalton Rapattoni sang his version of “Dancing in the Dark,” and Trent Harmon performed “Drink You Away.”
