Best Moments From ‘American Country Countdown Awards’

The American Country Countdown Awards aired on Sunday, and some of the biggest names in country music performed.

Luke Bryan was a big winner, receiving awards for Male Vocalist of the Year and Artist of the Year. He gave an emotional acceptance speech: “You know, everybody in my world that makes this happen — you know, my wife, my kids, my label, my management — my people that make me look kind of OK in front of you guys out there on the road, thank you so much for this night, and this will be certainly cherished.”

Carrie Underwood won Female Vocalist of the Year and sang her new song “Church Bells” while wearing a flashy gold dress.

To end the show, Merle Haggard was remembered by Toby Keith, who performed a medley of the late country singer’s songs.
