BRISTOL — “Sweeney Todd, The Demon Barber of Fleet Street” opens Nov. 10 and continues through Nov. 18 at Elkhart Civic Theatre’s Bristol Opera House, 210 E. Vistula St.

The Stephen Sondheim and Hugh Wheeler musical centers on Sweeney Todd, an unjustly exiled barber who returns to 19th century London to seek vengeance against the lecherous judge who framed him and ravaged his young wife.

The road to revenge leads Sweeney to Mrs. Lovett, a resourceful proprietress of a failing pie shop, above which he opens a new barber practice.
