The best kiss cam smooch ever is going viral

Who says age is the enemy of romance? Last night, beloved Brooklyn Nets super-fan Bruce Reznick aka “Mr. Whammy” attended the Nets vs. Cleveland Cavaliers game in Brooklyn with his wife Judy, aka “Mrs. Whammy.” When the kiss cam landed on the couple, they set a serious smooch example.

The camera’s roving eye captured couples of all ages and levels of enthusiasm, but no one seemed as excited as Reznick to give their loved one a smooch. The moment the camera landed on him and his wife, he pounced right on her for a whopper of a kiss. The video has gotten lots of love from commenters, and has already reached nearly 200,000 views.

Mr. Whammy is a Nets celebrity, who has had season tickets for 18 years. The 79-year-old’s enthusiasm for his team is deep. Mr. Whammy is known to stand in his seat (which happens to be right behind the basket) during the opposing team’s free throws and deliver his signature hex — an act that put him on LeBron James’s bad side back in 2015. During a free throw last night, Mr. Whammy stood behind the basket once again to put his trademark hex on James, and guess what? James missed the shot. One fan posted that exact moment on Instagram along with the caption, “The wizard who stopped LeBron tonight.”

Mr. Whammy was seen again on social media when another fan liked him so much she stopped him for a photo.

Mr. Whammy has got moves and they work — he got a smooch the Nets won the game by five points.
