Scarizona Scaregrounds: Running every weekend until Oct. 31, Scarizona Scaregrounds includes two haunted houses with new fears to explore this year. Throughout this immersive haunted experience, you might be so afraid that you’ll want to call your mommy.

Burk’s Halloween Kitty: Looking to tap into your creative side this Halloween? Visit Painting With a Twist in Phoenix, where you can get into the spooky spirit while getting artsy at this hands-on painting event. All supplies to create a painting are included. You're welcome to bring your own drinks and snacks; alcoholic beverages are not permitted.

Halloween Cats Cat Show and Adoption Event: If you’re more of an indoor cat lady than a partier, this event might be perfect for you. There will be over 150 pedigreed cats and kittens to see, as well as everyday household pet cats. You can visit cats in between judging, take pictures or watch them on the judging table. All About Animals Rescue will have purebred and mixes up for adoption.

The Murders & Mysteries tour incorporates facts and urban legends as you visit sites where you might experience supernatural sightings, psychic encounters and other strange moments. This includes the site of a Mafia-style assassination from the 1970s, a Victorian-era mansion where lots of deaths occurred and a haunted theater.
