Best new restaurants worth a visit in West Palm, Delray Beach, Boca Raton

There seems to be a spree of “openings” these days. Green market openings. Restaurant openings. Season openings.

Let’s catch up on what’s new!

Green markets return

The county’s centerpiece green market, which packs a lot of good food, people and pup-watching opportunities and reasons to stroll through downtown West Palm Beach, returns for the season at 9 a.m. Saturday.

The fan-favorite West Palm Beach GreenMarket, voted top farmers market in the country by USA Today readers for three consecutive years, kicks off with more vendors, entertainment and workshops.

My colleague Eddie Ritz wrote all about what to expect at this year’s market, located at the eastern end of Clematis Street. Here’s his story.

Here’s what to know about the newest steakhouse in steak-loving Boca.

Eddie V's Prime Seafood — Although "seafood" is in the name and prominent on the menu, this new Boca Raton restaurant is a steakhouse as well, offering a variety of premium cuts. Part of an upscale national chain, Eddie V's made its Mizner Park debut on Sept. 28. Read all about it here.

DalMoros Fresh Pasta To Go — A fast-casual pasta joint? Yes, the brand founded in Venice, Italy, opened a downtown Delray Beach location two weeks ago. Another location is coming to downtown West Palm Beach. Here’s what to know about the new spot.

That means you can still gobble up the deals at Amar Mediterranean Bistro ($45, four courses), Avalon Steak & Seafood ($45, three courses), Costa by OK & M Organic Kitchen ($45, 3 courses), Dada ($45, three courses), Le Colonial ($55, three courses), The Wine Room ($25 lunch, $65 dinner), The Bridge Café ($10 breakfast sandwiches) and Rocksteady Steakhouse ($85 prix fixe with a glass of wine).
