Benny Blanco Says He Makes Selena Gomez the Same Breakfast 'Every Single Day'

"Every day I try to make her her favorite breakfast," the record producer told Howard Stern of spending his mornings with his girlfriend Gomez

Benny Blanco tries his hardest to make sure his girlfriend Selena Gomez's day gets off to the best start.

During an appearance on the Tuesday, May 14 episode of The Howard Stern Show, Blanco, 36, revealed Gomez, 31, definitely has a favorite dish when it comes to breakfast.

"Every day I try to make her her favorite breakfast. Every single day," the record producer told Stern, 70.

"She wants the same thing every day. Her favorite thing is she either has chorizo and eggs in like a tortilla, chorizo and eggs in a quesadilla, chorizo and eggs and rice and beans — she wants some version of that," Blanco said of what he makes Gomez in the mornings.

When asked whether he makes the food himself, Blanco said he does, adding, "I love cooking, and it's that time where we really get to be with each other."

"We're both so busy that those times are so important to us where we can just, like, chill and be regular. She'll sit with me and we'll talk, we'll cook, we'll talk about what's going to happen. We both wake up really early," the musician said.

Blanco and Gomez confirmed their romance in December 2023, before making their official debut as a couple at the 2023 Emmys in January.

Elsewhere in his interview with Stern, Blanco revealed that the pair had been dating for months before going public with their relationship.

The music producer noted their first anniversary is coming up “right around her birthday [July 22],” adding that he has “some really good stuff” planned for the Only Murders in the Building star.

“People always said this to me, when you know you meet your best friend, she truly is my best friend,” Blanco shared, joking to Stern that he has to "get my act together" when the host asked if he'll be proposing anytime soon.

The couple regularly share their couple photos on social media. On April 29, Gomez posted a snap of a romantic tissue paper note she received from her boyfriend, which read, “I Love You! Sleep Well! I Made You Steak!”

Blanco had revealed his cooking plans on Instagram earlier in the day, walking viewers through making the meal for Gomez. However, when he dropped it off, he discovered she was taking a nap, prompting him to leave a note instead.
