Bengals spotted at Michigan State pro day before NFL draft

The Cincinnati Bengals have been active on the pro day circuit ahead of the 2023 NFL draft.

One of the notable things lately has been the presence of Bengals coaches keeping an eye on wide receivers.

That includes Bengals personnel being on-hand to see Michigan State’s pro day recently, per Cam Marino, where wideout Jayden Reed was one of the biggest names working out.

Reed, projected as a mid-round pick, might be the type of versatile prospect coaches have an eye on for his proven ability all over the field and yards-after-catch ability.

The Bengals are doing due diligence at the position, but also have to consider the fact Tyler Boyd has just one year left on his current deal.

The Spartans have a few other notable draft prospects this year, though from a Bengals perspective, punter Bryce Baringer might be the most notable given the need for an upgrade there.

Ben VanSumeren was another name to watch.
