Simmons played through injury before leaving game
Simmons appeared to suffer the injury in a first-quarter collision with Jazz guard Royce O’Neale while driving to the post.
Simmons, a 2018-19 All-Star, has averaged 15 points, 7.7 assists, 6.2 rebounds and 3.3 steals per game as Philadelphia’s reeled off a 5-1 start.
Any amount of missed time from the 76ers’ dynamic playmaker will be a blow to the team.
