Ben and Erin Napier Come Up with Hilariously Unconventional Use for Unwanted Light Fixtures: Watch (Exclusive)

The HGTV stars turn the disc-shaped items into a makeshift game of shuffleboard in this sneak peek of Sunday’s episode of Home Town

Erin and Ben Napier turn some discarded light fixtures into an entertaining game in Sunday’s Home Town.

In the exclusive sneak peek above, the couple debates what to do with the disc-shaped items, poking fun at their resemblance to flying saucers.

“Sucked me in like a tractor beam,” Ben jokes as an eerie sound effect plays.

“The first thing we need to do for Sarah is take these out of this house,” Erin instructs, noting that their client “hates them so much.”

However, instead of destroying them, Ben is determined to get resourceful and give them another purpose.

“I’m okay with putting them straight in the dumpster,” says Erin, who’s not enthusiastic about Ben’s suggestion to make the white, circular objects into a snowman ornament for the yard.

But Ben has another idea.

“We’re gonna play shuffleboard in here,” he announces, before the couple proceeds to play a creative version of the popular game, using brooms and a line of tape on the floor.

While the makeshift sport was a success, when it was Erin’s turn, she nudged the fixture with a little too much force, sending it crashing into the wall.

In the episode, titled “Shug and Spice,” Erin and Ben help a couple named Wesley and Sarah make upgrades to a house that once belonged to Sarah’s grandmother, including adding a bathroom and outdoor kitchen.

In addition to shuffleboard, the HGTV stars tried their hand at pickleball this season.

“We’re the least competitive people in the world, so this will be super-easy,” Erin, 38, assured viewers as they took to the court.

In another memorable recent episode,  Erin and Ben, 40, visited Jones College, where they met and fell in love in 2004. The school is about 13 minutes from their current home in Laurel, Miss.

“We had our first date in the student union, Erin recalled. “Everyone on both sides of our family went to school here.”
