Ben Affleck Laces Up Allbirds Shoes for Son’s Basketball Game in Santa Monica

Actor Ben Affleck is on dad duty.

The star put on some sneakers from Allbirds to go watch is son’s basketball game in Santa Monica, Calif.

Although this style is readily available for purchase, Affleck is a major fan of limited-edition and covetable sneakers. He’s often seen in grails from Nike and Jordan. Recently he was spotted wearing a pair of rare Nike SB Dunk sneakers created in collaboration with the rapper Travis Scott.

Other than family duties, while the director is in California he is also filming “Accountant 2.” In the project, he plays Christian Wolff, a small-town genius with autism.

About the Shoe

Affleck’s sneakers are from Allbirds. They are the company’s Tree Pipers style. The shoe is lightweight and knit from eucalyptus tree fiber. It is a classic low top style made for walking. The Made in Vietnam design also features shoe laces made from recycled plastic bottles, as well castor bean oil-based insole foam.

The specific pair that Affleck is wearing features a white upper and navy shoelace holes as well as collar tab. The sole on those shoes are a blizzard white while the upper is a more natural white. They retail for $105. Affleck’s wife, Jennifer Lopez, also recently wore a different pair of Allbirds shoes.
