“One storyteller spoke about miscommunication that comes with hearing challenges, and Siamese twins taught the audience how to make a rum cake,” Pierce said. "We had 85 people in the audience, which is pretty much a sell-out for our space."

JoAnn Kunich was the emcee. The attendees had positive comments about the show, Pierce said.

"They said: We had a blast. We need to have the belly dancers return. The musicians were good. We're glad that we didn't have to eat the rum cake! When's the next one?" Pierce said.
