Bella Thorne recalls denying to autograph a 'sexy' photo from when she was underage: 'Enough'

Bella Thorne is setting boundaries when it comes to "sexy" or "inappropriate" requests — especially if they stem from her underage years.

The actress, 25, recalled in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter published Sunday that she was "swarmed by autograph seekers" after attending the premiere of her latest thriller "Divinity" at Sundance Film Festival in January.

"I normally don't tell them off but they offended me," Thorne said, noting that one person was holding a photo of her 2017 GQ magazine cover for her to sign. "It's super sexy and my butt is out and I'm wearing lingerie and I'm topless."

She recalled declining to sign, but the autograph seeker was persistent. "He pulled out another photo of a magazine with another sexy image. He was like, 'Come on, Bella. Sign it for me.' I didn't like it. It was inappropriate," Thorne said.

Bella Thorne talks director's flirting accusation: 'Why ever would you think that?'

The second set of photos she was asked to sign were from when she was underage. "There was some stuff there from a Candies campaign that I did when I was 16 and it was clear that he wanted me to sign things that were viewed as sexy and even underage and I was like, 'Give me something else.' He said, 'Aren't they all sexy?'" Thorne recalled. "No, enough is enough."

"I get it, they have to make money and everyone has a job so I get that. It was just that I was under 18 and it's inappropriate," she added.

Thorne has recently been open about being oversexualized from when she was younger and is planning to channel those experiences in a short film she's been working on. "Hopefully that will be a big change for me as far as people hearing my voice and being able to see me and experience my vision. It’s a way for me to move forward in the world, you know?" she told THR.

The actress continued: "You also can't spend your time trying to take back these moments or moments that you (think) were too sexy or think that being a woman is only this or that. That's what my other short addresses, it's about growing up and being told from a very young age or by experiences that life as a woman means that people are either going to take something from you or you're going to give it to them."

"It's not always going to be your choice," she said. "And how do you deal with that?"

Ex-Disney star Dan Benson had his nude photos leaked. He took control by joining OnlyFans.

Last month, Thorne opened up about dealing with people shaming her for her past and present during an appearance on the “High Low with EmRata” podcast.

She told host Emily Ratajkowski that her then-agent informed her mother that Thorne would not be advancing in the casting process because “the director felt like she was flirting with him and it made him really uncomfortable.”

While the “Game of Love” star didn’t name the director, she said the memory of the incident drives her “crazy.”

“I still go back to this every day,” Thorne, 25, said. “I’m trying to find almost fault in myself. Like, ‘What did you do, Bella? What did you do that you made him feel like this?’”

However, Thorne is now pushing back against the director’s claim, given her age at the time.

“I don’t (care) what…I said,” Thorne said of the audition. “(I was) 10 years old. Why ever would you think that?”

She added: “Also, you’re in a director session, you can’t really say or do much. You do the scene, you say hello, you walk out. There’s no time to go sit on your lap or make you feel uncomfortable.”
