Bella Hadid's Barely-There Halter Dress Has a Plunging Neckline and Back Cutouts

Bella's back at Cannes and better than ever.

Bella Hadid is the belle of the ball—or rather, the Cannes Film Festival. The model has returned to the famous red carpet in France, and she has left no crumbs. First, it was her head-turning pantyhose dress, and then it was a golden micro-minidress.

On Tuesday, the model stunned again in another barely-there halter dress. Hadid was photographed at the Hotel Martinez in an ivory archival Gucci gown from spring 2005 with the deepest plunging neckline, kidney cutouts along her back, and woven silk detailing on the skirt and sides. The ruched skirt hit right at Hadid's ankles, showing off her champagne-colored pointed-toe pumps.

In terms of accessories, Hadid was dripping in diamonds from her layered pendant necklace and blinged-out drop earrings to her statement rings. Her shiny hair was pulled into a tight bun with a slicked-back deep side part. In terms of makeup, the model went for a glamorous beat that included bronzy contour, rosy cheeks, and feathered lashes.

Later in the day, Hadid traded the beige number for a slinky silver silk gown with embellished straps and a bedazzled strip at her midsection for the Chopard “Once Upon A Time” party. Of course, Hadid was decked out in jewels from the brand, including a tear-drop pendant diamond necklace, ornate earrings, and two rings.

When she's not on the Cannes red carpet, Hadid brings signature street style to the South of France. Over the weekend, the model wore the perfect corseted minidress—sans bra—for a sunny stroll through the coastal town. Pink Prada kitten heels and a tan bag finished off the look.

Hadid's appearance at 2024 Cannes marks her first time attending the festival in two years, and her long-awaited return to the red carpet has not disappointed. The model had set the bar pretty high—never forget when she wore the highest leg slit maybe ever and a lung necklace as a top—but she's topped herself yet again.
