We’ve all been there, struggling with the sore affect-effects of having a spent a little too long beneath the sun rays – possibly also without all-important sunscreen.

So Bella Hadid has our sympathy, after she shared a video revealing her red sunburn ‘lines’ having dozed off while on holiday.

In the short clip – shared with her 38.3 million followers on Instagram – the model, 24, could be seen jumping in the air while wearing a bikini and a silky printed cover-up.

Captioning the footage, she wrote: “I just woke up. Danger do not leave a sleepy girl in the sun...”

The video was followed in the carousel by an image of her posing beside the trunk of a palm tree, with a sea view in the background.

Within hours, the post has already received more than a million ‘likes’ from her fans.

One concerned person wrote: “Were u at least wearing sunscreen??”

Another commented: “Body goalsssss.”

And a third added: “Wear sunscreen please bb.”

While her tropical destination remains undisclosed, Hadid shared another holiday snap from earlier this week.

In the previous Instagram post, the star sported wet hair while taking a dip in a swimming pool, with palm trees and a stunning sunset in the background.

It comes after Hadid opened up to Vogue about her 25-year-old sister Gigi’s decision to keep her newborn daughter’s face off social media.

Speaking to the magazine, she said: “I think she wants to be real online.

“But until her child wants to be in the spotlight and can make the decision herself, she doesn’t want to put her in that position.”

The star said she has been reading to her four-month-old niece, Khai, the same books her older sibling used to read to her, including The Rainbow Fish and The Very Hungry Caterpillar.

She added: “It’s pretty nostalgic.”
