Bella Hadid has yet to address the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine.

The iconic model turned 27 on October 9, and her birthday coincided with ongoing drama as her fans expect to speak up in support of her home country, Palestine.

Stars like Kris Jenner, Madonna, Gal Gadot, Amy Schumer, Natalie Portman, and others have supported Israel. However, not many celebrities, except Mia Khalifa, have supported Palestine. Fans have been waiting to hear from Bella and her sister, Gigi Hadid, as they are not only from the Arabic state but have spoken up in support of their hometown.

Nevertheless, the 2022 Model of the Year continues to be radio-silent, but that hasn't been the case for her dad, Mohamed Hadid, who has been super outspoken about his support from Palestine. The famous patriarch has shared several posts showing his allegiance to his country.

He shared a quote from Israel's Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben-Gvir: "A Jew who kills Palestinians is not a murder suspect, but a hero who will get full backing from me."

Alongside the quote, he shared a note condemning the message, "This less of a human and Bibi and the far right government of this Zionist State is 💯 responsible for creating this massive escalation between the occupied and the occupier. It's that simple. Erasing the Palestinians off the map at United Nations is organized arrogance.. (the New Middle East). It's shameful …"

In a follow-up post, the real estate developer affirmed that his support for Palestine did not equate to condoning the killings made by Hamas. "To Be Clear, I condemn the killing and hostage taking or abusing, torturing of civilians. Of Arabs, Muslims, Jews, or Christians. And complete disapproval of the occupation's treatment against the occupied," he wrote.

Taking a break from his rant to celebrate his beloved daughter, the doting dad shared a series of photos showing Bella in her equestrian era alongside a thoughtful note.

"Happy birthday to my beautiful champ. Fearless.. passionate. Love her family and her horses .. she loves life and she feels for others competitive and compassionate about her work and love for humanity.. I love my baby bella @bellahadid."

In no time, fans camped under Mohamed's post to celebrate Bella's big day while discussing Israel and Palestine's drama. One fan wrote, "She loves Palestine and shares the feeing of pain with her people, thank you Mohamed for raising an amazing women, thank you Bella for all the support❤️❤️❤️."

Another comment read, "Happy birthday queen of Palestine ! May Allah bless you @bellahadid," while this follower added, "Happy birthday to our princess of Nazareth!"

Another user referenced Kylie Jenner's support post for Israel, which she deleted. "I hope you and your family aren't friends with the Kardashians as they have shown solidarity with Isreal," another fan wrote.

However, it wasn't all positive, as some critics slammed the Hadid family for supporting Palestine. A troll commented, "Princess of Hamas. I'm sure she'd love murdering Jewish grandmas with her compatriots. Ugliest soul and no amount of plastic surgery can fix that."

Unsurprisingly, Bella has remained silent about the issue, given the immense backlash she suffered the last time she showed public support for Palestine. During a 2022 appearance on "The Rep" podcast, she recalled painting "Free Palestine" on her hand and being criticized as a "person of hatred."

Bella explained that the backlash extended to her losing some modeling gigs and some longtime friends ditching her. "I had friends that completely dropped me, like even friends that I had been having dinner with at their home on Friday nights for seven years like now just won't let me at their house anymore," she recalled.
