Bella Hadid Looked Like a Shiny Gold Statue in a Sleek Mini Dress at Cannes

She's giving Palme d'Or.

Bella Hadid is continuing her Cannes red carpet domination by marrying summer 2024’s two trendiest colors in the French Riviera. Fresh off an internet-breaking sheer appearance in a Saint Laurent naked dress made completely out of pantyhose material, the model struck sartorial gold once again. On Tuesday, May 21, the newly minted perfume maven stepped out at the iconic Hotel Martinez in a butter yellow minidress studded with eggshell blue detailing.

Hadid looked like she’d taken color inspiration from the film festival’s prestigious Palme d’Or award, glowing in the sleek metallic number with a halter neck design, square neck, and a fitted skirt. The fabric of the backless dress reflected against the light, giving it even more of a golden trophy feel. Hadid’s dress was also decorated with an intricate print of light blue and white flowers, which played into the vintage Riviera aesthetic and also happened to be this season’s most popular color scheme.

The Victoria’s Secret alum–who recently announced the line of her Orebella perfume–wore her brunette hair in her signature sleek ballerina bun and complemented the golden hues of her outfit with deep bronzed makeup, sculpted cheeks, and a peach lip.

Hadid leaned into the coquette trend with her footwear, stepping out in soft yellow pointy-toed heels with dainty bows at the front. The rest of her accessories added a glam movie star element to her outfit, including a pair of on-trend frameless rectangular brown sunglasses with amber-hued lenses and diamond statement earrings.
