There's been a Bella Hadid-shaped hole in our inspiration boards since the 27-year-old took a step back from modeling and relocated to Fort Worth, Texas. But this week, she's back in New York City promoting her just-launched beauty venture, Orebella, and wearing some pretty excellent outfits.

Hadid just started working with stylist-to-the-"It"-girls Molly Dickson, and the two kicked off their partnership on Wednesday with a creamy vintage Christian Dior dress by John Galliano from 2004, which was snapped by paparazzi as she headed out the door in the morning. By the time she came back, though, she'd changed into something more current: a nylon bomber jacket, capri pants and curved-heel mules, all from Maximilian Davis' Spring 2024 collection for Ferragamo.

It's a decidedly different vibe from her breezier, more romantic archive moment from earlier in the day, but it still hits at nostalgia with the cropped pants, which are sort of the silhouette of the moment. (Frankly, I'd been resenting this resurgence — until this look.) The boxier jacket up top, with its sleeves pushed up to the elbow, creates some visual interest, contrasting with the slim-fit bottoms. The high-heeled mules, meanwhile elongate the leg (not that Hadid needs any help in that department), and add a bit of refinement to the sportier pieces.

Hadid accessorized with wire-rimmed sunglasses, plus her afternoon iced beverage and what appears to be a to-go bag containing baked goods. No one works harder or looks better than a celebrity with a product to promote — and I'm buying what she's selling.
