After being snubbed by the BAFTA committee and SAG Awards, Kristen Stewart is coming for her crown — the Oscar crown, that is.

The Spencer star is a first-ever nominee, and her performance as the late Princess Diana in the dream-like Pablo Larraín film has earned rave reviews from critics and audiences alike.

And now, she's reacting to the career highlight. "WOW, I wish Pablo and I were in the same country today," she said in a statement to ET. "I wish I could see his face."

"I am speechless and humbled this morning," she continued. "I am bowled over by this. I never thought in a thousand years I’d be in the company of these four incredible women. I would pay to make movies. I would make them if it was illegal. This is dream state, to share on this level."

The 31-year-old concluded, "I am so touched, and I am so grateful for the work that was generated on this film. I'm so proud to be a part of our film community. I am SO happy. It is a good day."

Following Kristen's nomination announcement, her fiancé — screenwriter Dylan Meyer — took to Twitter to celebrate the news in an adorable, cheeky way.

"Guess I'm not gonna have to give her this anymore," she wrote, alongside a photo of a plastic Oscar with the engraving "Best Sweetheart."

Even as we wait to see who ultimately wins Best Actress, it's clear that Kristen has rightfully cemented her place in (filmmaking) royalty. Cheers!
