Being blind didn't stop Donovan Tildesley from becoming an Paralympian

Donovan Tildesley was born with Leber's amaurosis which is an eye disease that causes blindness. His early dream was to become a swimmer like his father. He set out to accomplish that dream of swimming at the age of 9 with help from his father and uncle. Learning how to develop his skills and rhythm eventually led him to the Paralympics. He won many medals in the states and overseas, also holds various swimming records. Today Donovan works in insurance sales and continues to swim recreationally.
