With spring comes a new crop of must-see television and movies, and topping that list for many is “Fallout.” The new series, which is based off the cult favorite video game, was originally set to come out on Friday on Prime Video, yet it was announced earlier this week that due to the demand, the series was going to drop one day earlier than expected.

All of that diehard attention culminated on April 9 in Los Angeles, at the show’s premiere. One of the series’ stars is Sarita Choudhury, best known for her role as Seema in “Sex and the City” spinoff “And Just Like That.” In the recent years that we’ve seen Choudhury on the scene in New York, she’s emerged as a fashion darling. Working with stylist Caitlin Burke, Choudhury has attended many a New York Fashion Week show and event, from brands like Kallmeyer and Altuzarra, and even walked the runway at Prabal Gurung this past February.

For the Los Angeles premiere, Choudhury and Burke chose a dress and belt by Salon 1884, paired with shoes by Neous shoes and an Altuzarra clutch. Derek Yuen did hair while Kathy Jeung did makeup.

“[Jeung’s] makeup routine begins with [a] half-hour moisturizing prep,” Choudhury says of her getting ready process, which included “my best friend, the eye patch” for added moisturizing.

Hair included a pin curl, with Yeun “doing hair the old fashioned way.” As for her outfit, Choudhury said “somehow the end result feels easy and feminine.”
