New Bedford Public Library honors Hispanic Heritage Month by showcasing Latino artists

A group of artists from Central and South America will showcase their art to share their life stories and experiences at the New Bedford Public Library. The artists on display include Ana Pérez, Fidel Castro Sincú, Jaqueline Paulo Ruiz, Antonio Beltrán, and Ximena Beltrán.

The exhibition will feature paintings, photography, and leather craftsmanship, reflecting the cultural identity of each nation. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore how each artist strives to keep their culture alive and express the essence of their countries through their artwork.

As part of AHA Night, there will be an opening reception at 5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 12, and it will be on display until Oct. 30 at the New Bedford Public Library, 613 Pleasant St., New Bedford.
