Becky Lynch may not have won the WWE Women’s World Championship at WrestleMania 40, but she took the now-vacant title home tonight.

In a match tonight determine a new champion after Rhea Ripley had to vacate the title last week due to injury, it was Lynch who would walk out on top in a big Women’s World Championship Battle Royal.

In a match that featured Liv Morgan, Nia Jax, Piper Niven, Candice LeRae, Ivy Nile, Maxxine Dupri, Indi Hartwell, Kayden Carter, Kitana Chance, Chelsea Green, Natalya, Zoey Stark, and Shayna Baszler, the match came down to just Lynch, Jax, and Liv Morgan.

With just three superstars left, Morgan and Lynch teamed up to take down Jax. The pair knocked Jax off the rope as she went to hit both Lynch and Morgan with an Annihilator, and after taking a big leg drop from Lynch while standing on the outside of the ropes, Jax fell and was eliminated.

Down to just Morgan and Lynch, the pair quickly battled each other outside of the ropes, and in the end, Lynch was able to come out on top after managing to stay standing following a big attack from Morgan.

Lynch avoided an Oblivion attempt from Morgan and reversed it into a Manhandle Slam, dropping Morgan down and onto the apron to become the newest WWE Women’s World Champion.
