Beauty and Mr. Romantic episode 17 is all set to air on Saturday, May 18, 2024. KBS 2TV’s ongoing rom-com drama is garnering a lot of attention and praise. Starring Im Soo-Hyang and Ji Hyun-Woo in the lead, the storyline has taken a sharp turn to add more dynamics between the characters.

The narrative follows Park Do-Ra (Im Soo-Hyang), a top actress who faces a rough spot in her career, and PD Go Pil-Seung (Hyun-Woo) helps her. So far, the plot shows how Do-Ra decides to end her life after a malicious rumor about her surfaces everywhere. The show fast-forwards to the future. Two years later, a girl who looks a lot like Do-Ra but lives under a different identity is introduced.

KBS dropped Beauty and Mr. Romantic episode 17’s trailer before its premiere. The video clip shows the new girl in town, Ji-Young, who starts to work at the broadcasting station. She slowly immerses herself in different scenarios at the station and finds out about the actress, Park Do-Ra. She looks a lot like herself after the surgery, but she has lost her memory from before. What will Go Pil-Seung do? Will he be able to recognize her?

While Ji-Young tries to settle down in Seoul, she looks at the cost of living in the city and thinks of working even harder. Meanwhile, everyone is back to living their usual lives, but has anyone forgotten Park Do-Ra? It doesn’t seem so. Her mother still cries, and Pil-Seung (Ji Hyun-Woo) is too sensitive about it.

The video clip of Beauty and Mr. Romantic’s trailer further shows that Pil-Seung and Ji-Young get into a fight, and he shouts at her for saying certain things. How will their relationship dynamics change now that a new inning has started?
