‘Beauty and the Beast’: Mariachi band recreates the iconic theme song, dance
Emma Watson and Dan Stevens aren’t the only duo putting a new spin on Beauty and the Beast.
In a video posted by Latino digital network Mitú, a mariachi band recreates the iconic dance scene from Beauty and the Beast. Dawning the same colors as the characters in the animated, and now live-action, film, the duo meets on a staircase before descending to the ballroom, where the band plays the memorable “Beauty and the Beast” song, here with guitars, violins, and trumpets.

With the new film from Bill Condon dancing into theaters Friday, the song, which was sung by Angela Lansbury in the film and Celine Dion and Peabo Bryson for the soundtrack, has gotten an update from John Legend and Ariana Grande.
