Beastie Boys Announce New Greatest Hits Album

Beastie Boys have announced a new compilation: Beastie Boys Music arrives October 23 (via UMe). The career-spanning album—which will be released digitally, on CD, and as a 2xLP set—includes some of the Beasties’ biggest hits, like “(You Gotta) Fight for Your Right (To Party!),” “Intergalactic,” and “No Sleep Till Brooklyn.” According to a press release, Beastie Boys Music “is a companion piece” to the 2020 film Beastie Boys Story and 2018’s Beastie Boys Book. Beastie Boys’ last new album, Hot Sauce Committee Part Two, arrived in May 2011, one year before the death of Adam “MCA” Yauch. The group last released a compilation, Solid Gold Hits, in 2005.
