Ebon Moss-Bachrach thanked two of Hollywood's most beloved women for their support during The Bear season 2.

While accepting the 2024 Critics Choice Award for best supporting actor in a comedy series on Sunday, he gave a special shout-out to Taylor Swift and Olivia Colman.

"I've gotta thank my two special scene partners this year, Olivia Colman and Taylor Swift," he said, to laughs from the audience, before thanking his wife, and two daughters for their support.

Moss-Bachrach's shout-outs for Swift, 34, and Colamn, 49, refer to a season 2 episode of the Hulu restaurant comedy in which his character, Richie, tried to score highly-coveted Swift tickets for his daughter and ex-wife. Though he got the tickets, bad news for Richie was on the horizon when he learned his ex got engaged to someone else.

What unfolded was some bits of joy in Richie's life, regardless. A fan-favorite scene showed the tough-edged character belting out Swift's "Love Story" on his drive home.

That same episode featured Colman in the flesh, playing Chef Terry — the woman leading Richie's week-long training retreat at one of the world's best restaurants. The pair had an emotional bonding moment that seemed to reinvigorate Richie's spirit, something fans had waited for since season 1.

Moss-Bachrach, 46, also reflected on his character's newfound soft side during his Critics Choice speech.

"This is such a privilege to play this part," he said. "Really beautiful experience to take this man kind of from a tough place into the light. It's not often you get to do that — to play joy. And it's been a really wonderful, special, special experience for me."

The Bear is one of Hulu's latest smash hits, and has already been renewed for a third season. Series lead Jeremy Allen White recently revealed to Variety that the show's next season starts filming in February or March.
