Beanie Feldstein is loving married life!

The Booksmart actress, 30, shared that the best bit about marriage is “everything” while gushing over her wife Bonnie-Chance Roberts, who joined her as her date at the Drive-Away Dolls premiere in New York City on Tuesday.

“My favorite part of married life is everything but I think the big thing that felt different was saying “my wife,’ ” Feldstein tells PEOPLE. “[It] has more power than like ‘my girlfriend’ … you know, it’s like ‘my wife’ is like ‘oh, this is legit.’ ”

“Oh my god, I just want her with me every second of every day,” Feldstein adds of her wife being there to support her on the red carpet for her latest movie. “So it’s like of course she had to be here and she looks so beautiful.”

On Tuesday, Feldstein was also joined at the premiere by her costars in the new Coen brothers film, Margaret Qualley and Geraldine Viswanatha. The new movie follows the story of two women who run into criminals while on an impromptu road trip to Tallahassee, Florida.

Speaking on who she would like to travel with on her own road trip, Feldstein tells PEOPLE, “Oh, my wife obviously! No doubt. We love to road trip, we really want to do cross country.”

Feldstein married longtime girlfriend Roberts in May 2023. The pair met in the U.K. in 2018 on the set of How to Build a Girl and got engaged in June 2022.

Earlier this month, Feldstein shared details of her wedding on Late Night with Seth Meyers. The star described the ceremony, which took place at Cedar Lakes Estate in Hudson Valley, as “perfect” — except for a shower mishap that occurred as she got ready for the altar.

Feldstein explained that after she finished showering and walked over to the nightstand to check the time, she hadn't realized that she'd left some of the cabin curtains open.

"I'm hunched over, butt-naked and I look up like this, like a gremlin in the night, and Bon's friend Abby is standing in the glass door," Feldstein recalled with a laugh. "I've never screamed so hard in my entire life ... Because this is the worst way you want anyone to see you, let alone if you're butt-naked on your wedding day. So Abby really gave me fright. But other than that it was perfect."

"I was so calm," Feldstein added to Meyers of saying her vows. "I just got to look at her and hear her vows, and it was perfect."

The actress also shared that for the couple's first dance song, her close friend, actor and singer Ben Platt, performed a rendition of "Something in the Way She Moves" by James Taylor. "It was just Ben's buttery voice, accompanied by James and Bon, and we danced — it was so nice," Feldstein recounted.

She added of asking her friend Sarah Paulson to be a part of her bridal party for the big day, "When I asked her to be my bridesmaid, she started weeping, in such a sweet way."
