From Barbie to Furby and now Beanie Babies, the summer of nostalgia continues with The Beanie Bubble. The comedic drama about the adorable stuffed animals that blew up in the ’90s premieres on Apple TV+ on Friday (July 28).
Adapted from the 2015 book, The Great Beanie Baby Bubble: Mass Delusion and the Dark Side of Cute, the movie takes audiences inside the Beanie Babies craze.

Zach Galifianakis stars as Ty Warner, the billionaire CEO of Ty Inc., the company that makes Beanie Babies. Elizabeth Banks plays Robbie, a character based on Warner’s former business partner, Patricia Roche.
Sarah Snook and Geraldine Viswanathan also star in the movie, which is written and directed by Kristin Gore with Damain Kulash Jr. Brian Grazer and Ron Howard are producers.
